Interested in pursuing distance ed courses or a distance education degree program? There are many reasons why people choose to pursue a higher education through distance education (aka “distance ed”).
Many students are finding that they may prefer the flexibility of online colleges or online courses offered by colleges that have both online and on-campus classes. Distance ed courses also provide the opportunity for working adults (as many of us are) the ability to set aside their own time in their own schedule to complete their Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree.
For example, working a swing shift or overnight shift sometimes doesn’t allow adults to attend courses on-campus, as most evening classes run from 6-9 pm. During that time, they are either already at work, or are travelling to work. Morning classes wouldn’t leave them much time to rest either. So, how can working adults find the time to complete a degree? Attending college through distance ed is the best answer.
